Audits / Inspections Are Crucial!
That’s why I include free ones for you at the bottom of this page
As an RV owner, periodic audits / inspections are critical because they help ensure the safety, reliability, and longevity of the vehicle. Over time (far sooner than most of us would like), components such as brakes, tires, electrical systems, plumbing, slide seals and roof sealant can wear down or develop hidden issues that may not be immediately noticeable, but could lead to costly repairs or dangerous situations if left unaddressed. Regular inspections allows identification of minor problems before they escalate, helping owners avoid unexpected breakdowns on the road. In addition, routine checkups can improve fuel efficiency, preserve the value of the RV, and provide peace of mind knowing that the vehicle is road-ready for any adventure. Ultimately, periodic inspections protect both the RV and its occupants, making them a smart investment for every RV owner.

As an RV Owner, audits / inspections may be something you’ve never thought about. However, I want you to take just a few minutes and consider the following:
Your rig cost a lot of money
(RVs are EXPENSIVE!)
Your RV has all of the same systems and equipment that are in your stick-and-brick home
(RVs are complex!)
You pull or drive that rig down the road at interstate speeds
(RV Houses don’t like to be moved!)
The combination of numbers 2 and 3 are the reason for those mysterious failures and malfunctions RVs are famous for.

It’s natural to think, “Well, it’s an RV. I’m SURE it was engineered to handle that, right?!”… and, “Why does my brand new 52 foot SuperWhiz Platinum edition have stuff that stopped working after a week?!?”. The unfortunate truth is both the engineering and manfacture of RVs leave a LOT to be desired. In short, the manufacturers design them to be quick to build and then build them as cheaply as possible.
This is not intended to make you hate your RV… I want you to LOVE your RV! I also want you to learn about your RV and it’s systems so that you can make the best decisions possible. If someone tells you that you have to be an “RV Tech” to perform simple periodic inspections, tell them that RVDoc (who IS a certified RV Tech and a degreed Engineer) hooked you up with a cool maintenance / audit schedule FREE OF CHARGE!

If you’d prefer to have a professional perform your inspection, would like a more in-depth or comprehensive inspection (purchasing a new or new-to-you rig, preparing to sell your rig, would like a list of things you might consider fixing before selling), or you just want a professional set of eyes on your rig before you head out on that epic road trip, RVDoc offers three different tiers of audits.
Peace Of Mind (POM) Audit - Basic
Seasonal Audit - Mid Level
Platinum Audit - Comprensive (600+ points)
